🧑‍🌾Derek vs Derek is an award-winning feature documentary and global impact campaign tackling one of the most urgent challenges of our time – how can we farm and restore nature simultaneously?

🐄Derek Banbury is an advocate for intensive dairy farming; doing his bit to feed the nation.

🐗Derek Gow is giving his entire farm over to nature; rewilding it into an oasis for wildlife. Tempers fray, wild animals escape, and the land between them is inevitably transformed.

Award-winning director James Dawson’s new documentary is set in the rolling hills of Devon, telling the story of two neighbouring farmers who share a name but take radically different approaches to land use. Through humour and occasional tension, the film shines a light on the vital debate surrounding the future of rural Britain, encouraging conversation around how productive farming and nature restoration might work alongside each other.
